The Koger Center Calendar

Work on the Koger Center Calendar begins three years in advance and is largely dictated by the academic calendar of the University of South Carolina. Calendar preparation takes place in four stages and begins with the placement of University events. Once the University dates are entered, the dates for the major community building users are placed into the calendar based on historical use and adjusted to avoid conflict with home football games. Following the entry of the dates for the major community building users, the dates for the Broadway Series are entered. Because of the nature of the tourring industry, setting dates for the Broadway Series can take as long as eighteen months to two years. Only when the dates for the Broadway Series have been established is the calendar opened to other organizations.
To be considered a major building user, an organization must meet three criteria:
